Slab Built Hearthenware
Painter and potter Sarah Cannell's passion for landscape is reflected in her thrown earthenware and porcelain ceramic forms, as well as her watercolour and ink paintings.
Drawing inspiration from the marshes, footpaths and the lanes around the Waveney Valley, she creates vibrant and joyful pieces with the use of decorative underglazes in pencil, colour and transfer.
Sarah studied at Falmouth Art College between 1994 and 97, Curwen Study Print Centre, Essex University and Central St Martins. She has exhibited across the UK and has work in permanent private and public collections.
